The building sector accounts for a significant share of global energy consumption. In Morocco it is the second most energy intensive sector, representing 33% of the total consumption. To address this challenge, the country has implemented an ambitious national strategy aiming to reduce energy need by 20% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. This study is based on a methodology aligned with ISO 50001 and ISO 50002 standards, incorporating data collected using measurement devices and simulation software. A practical case study conducted in a tertiary building in Morocco highlights the positive impact of effective energy management and the integration of photovoltaic systems. The proposed actions are estimated to achieve energy savings of approximately 92 450 kWh per year, generate annual financial savings of around 190 581 MAD, and reduce CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> emissions by nearly 68 tons.
