Effect of Ozone layer depletion is of global concern in which by examining the Ozone layer healing under the influence of radiation and chemical reactions scientist can proffer the impact rate on the environment. The basic hydrodynamic equations were transformed into ordinary differential equation using similarity solution and then non-dimensionalized. The energy equation, Navier-stokes equation and concentration equation were solved using Homotopy perturbation method with modified boundary conditions. The solutions obtained were then analysed using Mathematica software version 12 and it was observed that when the term in energy acting negatively was replaced by an additive term, the expressions for the change in the chemical reaction term and the change in the concentration took in account for a recovery in the ozone layer. Similar patterns of enhancement of the Prandtl variables as well as Schmidt variables were noticed. It is noticed that when there is an increase in temperature profile and concentration there is also increase in Gashof number which confirmed the sign of healing of the ozone layer. The impact of radiation on the temperature profile indicates that when heat transfer coefficient decreases it upshot an increase in the radiation parameter which affirmed that the ozone layer is recovering.
