E-Learning and Development of Digital Skills for Future Teachers in Morocco

Abstract

This chapter aims to present an experience of using a distance learning platform, UPTICE, with students of Bachelor's Degrees in Education (primary and secondary) at the Higher Normal School (ENS) of the University Abdelmalek Essaadi of Tetouan, Morocco. The objective is to reflect on what the use of e-learning devices can contribute to the development of digital competences of future teachers. Specifically, the authors present the aspects that improve and complete the classroom training offered in these degrees, some difficulties that arise, and finally, proposals for improvement.
