Ichthyological diversity of the flooded swamp forest of the Lake Tumba hydrographic network on the Mbandaka-CREF Mabali to Bikoro road axis, Equateur Province (DR Congo) Resume Cette etude etait conduite dans la foret marecageuse inondee situee sur l’axe routier Mbandaka-Mabali dans le territoire de Bikoro, province de l’Equateur en Republique Democratique du Congo dans le but de connaitre les especes de poissons qui peuplent cette zone. Les specimens de poissons etaient recoltes entre Septembre 2017 et Decembre 2018. La faune ichtyologique de la zone etudiee est riche et variee (H’ compris entre 2,828 et 3,027). Au total, 22 especes de poissons regroupees en 8 ordres, 13 familles et 16 genres ont ete identifiees. Les ordres des Perciformes (23%), Siluriformes, Osteoglossiformes et Cypriniformes (avec 15% respectivement) sont les plus abondants. Sur le plan de la composition taxonomique, les sites de etudies se ressemblent a au moins 32%. Les poissons des familles des Anabantidae (24%), Clariidae (19%) et Cichlidae (9%) ont ete les plus representes. Hepsetus odoe, Xenomystus nigri, Polypterus ansorgii et Malapterurus electricus n’ont pas ete pechees dans tous les sites. Les eaux analysees sont chaudes (temperature comprise 26,68±0,96 °C et 24,64±0,59 °C), moins troubles (turbidite comprise entre 4,54±0,68 NTU et 5,04±1,69 NTU), acides (pH compris entre 4,9±0,47 et 6,8±0,28) et moins oxygenees (5,2±0,35 mg/L et 3,5±0,96 mg/L). The fish specimens were collected between September 2017 and December 2018. The fish fauna in the study area is rich and varied (H' between 2.828 and 3.027). A total of 22 fish species grouped into 8 orders, 13 families and 16 genera were identified. The orders of Perciformes (23%), Siluriformes, Osteoglossiformes and Cypriniformes (with 15% respectively) are the most abundant. In terms of taxonomic composition, the study sites are at least 32% similar. Fish from the families Anabantidae (24%), Clariidae (19%) and Cichlidae (9%) were the most represented. Hepsetus odoe , Xenomystus nigri , Polypterus ansorgii and Malapterurus electricus were not caught at all sites. The waters analysed are warm (temperature between 26.68±0.96°C and 24.64±0.59°C), less turbid (turbidity between 4.54±0.68 NTU and 5.04±1.69 NTU), acidic (pH between 4.9±0.47 and 6.8±0.28) and less oxygenated (5.2±0.35 mg/L and 3.5±0.96 mg/L).
