A Digital Twin is an innovative technology that links the real and virtual world by collecting real-time data from the installed sensors. This technology benefits various sectors such as astronomy, automotive, and manufacturing. The goal of this paper is to review the existing literature and explore the role of Digital Twin and its applications for Industry 4.0 in general, with a particular focus on antennas optimizations, in the end we will focus on active digital twin as result of AI integration.
