This study assessed the determinants of livelihoods diversification among farming households in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State, Nigeria. Multistage sampling procedure and purposive selection were used to select 120 respondents for the study using questionnaire. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequencies, percentages and means. Also, inferential statistics such as logistic regression was used. The result from the descriptive analysis showed that most of the respondents were young (70.0%), married (100.0%) with the mean household size of 5 persons. The result further revealed that 63% of the respondents had formal education. The result of regression showed that the coefficients of age (0.0546), household size (0.4803), farm size (2.9006) and access to credit (0.0083) were positive.
