ABSTRACT Manufacturing industries are under mounting pressure to achieve net‐zero emissions while maintaining competitiveness. The drive toward net‐zero carbon emissions in manufacturing demands a cohesive strategy that combines circular economy principles with cutting edge industrial innovation. Therefore, this paper presents a multilayer integrated strategic framework for net‐zero manufacturing ecosystems by integrating closed loop circular‐economy strategies with the emerging Industry 5.0 (I5.0) paradigm and Circular Product Lifecycle Management (CPLM). We used Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses (PRISMA) and a bibliometric approach to integrate I5.0's human‐centric and sustainable orientation and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) practices identified across eight value chains and five support and net zero categories. The results demonstrate that the potential of I5.0 enabling technologies and human‐centric innovation enhances circular lifecycle practices, encompassing design and sourcing through production, use, and end‐of‐life recovery to minimize waste and emissions. Whereas the bibliometric results reveal the dominant thematic clusters, keywords co‐occurrence, influential publication outlets, and top contributing authors in net‐zero manufacturing ecosystems, I5.0, and CPLM scholarship over the past decade. Further, the proposed framework is structured into value chain stages aligned with the 10R circular strategies, underpinned by organizational and technological enablers that collectively promote a climate‐neutral, resource‐efficient manufacturing ecosystem. Moreover, we outline the categories of practices, their alignment with circularity loops and digital technologies, and discuss the synergistic outcomes of this integration including improved resource efficiency, reduced carbon footprint, and enhanced competitiveness. This study offers implications for manufacturing strategists to adopt human‐centric, technology‐enabled circular practices and outlines supportive policy measures to foster collaborative, net‐zero industrial ecosystems. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by proposing a multidimensional net‐zero manufacturing ecosystem which offers new insights by integrating diverse concepts into a comprehensive model that aligns with manufacturing technology management and sustainability objectives. Moreover, it provides a strategic roadmap for practitioners engaged in sustainable industrial transformation.
