This repository contains the design files, scripts, and supporting materials for the low-cost head-mounted camera system for real-time medication-error detection described in the associated publication. The system is a wearable, camera-based platform built using commodity embedded hardware (Raspberry Pi Zero W, Pi Camera Module, and PiSugar battery) and a custom 3D-printed enclosure. It enables first-person video capture of medication preparation workflows and supports on-device processing for detecting deviations from clinical protocols. Included in this repository are: 3D design files (STL) for the enclosure components Assembly and fabrication assets Python scripts for video capture and mismatch detection Supporting documentation for system setup and operation The device was validated through deployment in surgical settings, demonstrating feasibility, usability, and operational reliability in low-resource environments.
