This paper presents the design of a high-performance array antenna with 64 elements operating at a resonance frequency of 24 GHz. Each microstrip patch antenna in the array features a diagonally symmetric rectangular slot, optimizing performance on a Rogers RT5880 substrate. The antenna achieves a good input impedance matching at 24 GHz and an axial ratio of less than 3 dB, indicating robust circular polarization. The array demonstrates a significant gain enhancement, making it suitable for high-frequency applications such as satellite communications. The design and performance of the antenna are validated through comprehensive simulations using CST Microwave Studio (CST MW) and Advanced Design System (ADS). This array antenna showcases a promising solution for modern communication systems, combining high gain and effective circular polarization.
