This dataset contains the raw and processed data collected during a quasi-experimental study conducted in the peri-urban municipality of Tanjombato, Antananarivo, Madagascar, between February and April 2026. The study involved 248 households and evaluated the effectiveness of seven progressive intervention scenarios designed to improve household waste source separation behavior. The dataset includes: Household socio-demographic characteristics (Scenarios 1 to 4 and for Scenarios 5 to 7) Source Separation Rate (SSR) measurements for each household across the experimental scenarios. Waste bank participation data and household responses regarding the use of financial incentives. Data related to the integration of informal waste pickers into awareness campaigns and waste collection activities. Statistical outputs used in the study, including descriptive statistics, normality tests, Friedman tests, and pairwise comparisons. The interventions assessed included environmental education, awareness campaigns, social rewards, financial incentives through waste banks, and the participation of informal waste pickers. Location: Tongarivo, Municipality of Tanjombato, Antananarivo, Madagascar.
