dataset · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)
This dataset contains 1,554 observations of groundwater drawdown recorded at one-minute intervals during a controlled pumping experiment conducted at the Thuli Sand River Aquifer, Gwanda, Zimbabwe. Data were collected between 17:26 on 27 February and 12:33 on 28 February using an automated level logger installed in an observation piezometer located approximately 2 metres from the pumping well. Barometric compensation was applied using a simultaneously deployed barologger. The pump operated at an approximate discharge rate of 18 m³/h. The dataset supports the analyses reported in Mpofu, Nyoni, Mdlongwa and Hussey, submitted to Scientific African.
