Data and Reproducibility Materials for "Livelihood Diversification and Multidimensional Food Security among Rural Households Experiencing Persistent Vulnerability in Maroodijeex, Somaliland"

Abstract

This repository contains the anonymized analytical data and reproducibility materials supporting the study, “Livelihood Diversification and Multidimensional Food Security among Rural Households Experiencing Persistent Vulnerability in Maroodijeex, Somaliland.” The household component comprises data from 377 rural households and includes the variables required to reproduce the reported descriptive statistics, multidimensional food security analysis, livelihood-shock summaries, propensity-score model, covariate-balance diagnostics, propensity-score matching estimates, robustness analyses, and associated figures. The repository also includes processed monthly climate data for 1991–2024 and R code supporting the rainfall trend and SPEI-12 drought analyses. Direct identifiers, precise household geographic coordinates, and other potentially identifying information are excluded from the publicly shared household dataset.
