Cooperatives and Women's Political Empowerment

Abstract

This research article aims to shed light on the role of cooperative work in achieving the political empowerment of women in the Ain El-Aouda region in Rabat, and the effectiveness of the means and activities followed by cooperatives in political empowerment and the development of women's political capabilities and skills. This research was approached from a sociological perspective, and at the methodological level, the questionnaire was the means of collecting field data, and the field data was transcribed and analyzed using the SPSS statistical analysis program. The results showed that the collaborative work contributed to achieving women's political empowerment in the Ain El-Aouda Rabat, by enhancing awareness of women's political rights, encouraging them to engage in political work, and raising women's legal awareness to claim their rights. These initiatives contribute to building a generation of women who are able to participate effectively in political life.
