In this work, we used the mean field approximation and Monte Carlo simulation to study the magnetic properties of a ferrimagnetic mixed-spin (1/2, 2) hexagonal nanotube with core-shell structure. The effects of parameters DS, JS and Jin on the critical and compensation behaviors of the system are investigated. The core, shell and total magnetizations are examined. The results obtained show the appearance of second- and first-order phase transitions and compensation temperatures.
