Causes of death from community settings: insights from verbal autopsy implementation in Tanzania

Abstract

VA plays a pivotal role in generating comprehensive mortality statistics, particularly in low-resource settings. Its integration into CRVS systems with support from CCVA provides a scalable and sustainable solution to address critical data gaps and improve public health interventions, thus better enabling evidence-based health policies and planning in Tanzania.
