Brevundimonas diminuta is a Gram-negative, non-fermenting, ubiquitous bacillus. It is rarely described in human infections. We report a case of Brevundimonas diminuta bacteremia in a young patient undergoing treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma. the patient was admitted for management of febrile neutropenia. The patient was treated with intravenous imipenem leading to a favorable outcome. Brevundimonas diminuta is an ever-increasing cause of infection, especially in critically ill patients. It is showing increased resistance to antimicrobial agents.
