Assessing the Influence of AI-Driven Personalization on Email Marketing Performance

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of AI-driven personalization on email marketing performance, comparing it with traditional methods across key performance indicators including open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates. Using empirical data, the findings reveal that AI-powered email campaigns significantly outperform traditional campaigns, achieving improvements of 42% in open rates, 71% in CTR, and 68% in conversion rates. These results highlight the effectiveness of AI's ability to analyze real-time customer behavior and dynamically tailor content, enhancing engagement and driving better business outcomes. While the study confirms and extends existing literature, limitations such as a relatively small sample size, focus on quantitative metrics, and reliance on proprietary AI tools suggest directions for future research. Overall, this research underscores the transformative potential of AI personalization in optimizing email marketing strategies and offers practical and theoretical insights for digital marketers.
