Architectural practice is transforming due to globalization and digital advancements. This paper examines their impact on the Nigerian architectural profession, exploring how global trends and digital tools (BIM, AI, VR/AR) reshape workflows. It investigates Nigeria's current practice, identifying challenges like the digital divide, international competition, and talent retention. Opportunities for Nigerian architects to leverage digital technologies for efficiency, innovation, and global collaboration are highlighted. The paper argues that embracing digital literacy, fostering partnerships, and promoting local identity enables Nigerian architects to adapt and contribute to sustainable development. This work offers insights and policy recommendations for Nigerian architectural bodies, educators, and practitioners.
