Lv et al. (JIMO 20(1):270-299, 2024) introduced the concept of approximate Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (AKKT) conditions for smooth bilevel optimization problems and obtained some AKKT-type necessary optimality conditions for weak efficient solutions. In this paper, we extend these optimality conditions to non-smooth bilevel optimization problems by utilizing the optimal value reformulation. We also explore how to ensure any AKKT point satisfies the KKT conditions through a suitable constraint qualification. Furthermore, we analyze a special case where AKKT conditions become necessary for any local minimizer.
