Rough Set Theory (RST) is a data mining approach which can be used to handle uncertainty emphasized in decision making and presented a valuable approach for decision rule extraction from data. The main purpose of this paper is Faults Fixing System (FFS) analysis using rough sets. First, it formulates the FFS in the frame of the condition and decision attributes. Second, the indiscernibility relation collects objects that are identical together into equivalence classes, which enabling generating reducts, FFS analysis according to decision areas, and extracting FFS decision rules. Finally, the suggested approach can be implemented on Telecom Egypt Company, Sharkia Governorate branch, as a case study. The results presented that the proposed methodology could be used to support decision making for strategic planning and labor force redistribution.
