An RF-Based Emergency Communication and Information Technology for Improving Security in FPTB

Abstract

An improved security communication system is required due to the increase in criminal activity, including theft and assaults, at the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB). This article suggests using RF communication methods to improve security communication on campus. The goal is to create practical architectural solutions and put into practice techniques for reliable RF-based communication security. This research addresses the urgent need for better security methods in light of the rising security concerns. Private security companies are crucial in specific contexts, such as educational institutions, where government security forces also contribute to overall safety. The study suggests using RF-based walkie-talkie technology, particularly the Baofeng BF-88E PMR 16 channels, to overcome these difficulties and improve emergency communication. The proposed approach improves communication overall by providing quick communication and wide coverage. The high acceptability of the system, which is intended to solve security concerns, improve communication, and create a safer atmosphere at FPTB, is evidence of the system's effectiveness and user satisfaction.
