An application of dual group reductions to the AKNS integrable mKdV model

Abstract

This work aims to explore coupled integrable modified Kortewegde Vries (mKdV) models through the framework of the Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur (AKNS) matrix spectral problem. By proposing and applying a set of dual group reductions, we derive reduced matrix integrable mKdV models. The results yield new examples of integrable models and offer valuable insights into the classification of mKdV type integrable models.
