Ambient conversion of CO<sub>2</sub> and epoxides to cyclic carbonates using 3D amide-functionalized MOFs

Abstract

The amide functionalized 3D zinc( ii )-5,5′-(([1,1′-biphenyl]-4,4′-dicarbonyl)bis(azanediyl))diisophthalate framework (Zn-MOF) efficiently catalyzes the fixation of CO 2 into cyclic carbonate under ambient conditions with very low catalyst loading.
