This electronic document presents the simulation and analysis results of a monopole patch antenna at the working frequency 2.45 GHz. In this design, a simple radiating element (monopole patch) is connected with a transmission line and excited by a 50 Ohms impedance. The proposed solution for this structure is to make simple two slots beside the line in order to enhance the parametric results. Return loss of the antenna is −17.2 dB, realized gain is 3.62 dB and directivity 7 dBi. The proposed antenna covered the frequency spectrum 2420 MHz-2477.8 MHz with bandwidth 57.8 MHz. The design and the results are done by an electromagnetic simulation software called CST Studio.
