This paper presents a design of a controller using the Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM), applied to a two-mass wind turbine model, approximated by First Order Plus Time Delay (FOPTD). In a previous system control work, it has been shown that controller design Taylor Denominator expansions (TD) of the FOPTD gives the lowest stabilization time delay than the Taylor Numerator expansions (ND) and Padé (PA) approximations. This paper extends this result by exploiting (TD) approximation for a controlled system's system control simulation, showing the approach's effectiveness in accomplishing stable and reliable system behavior.
