In recent years, smart devices have gained popularity and have captured the interest of researchers due to their ability to improve the lives of citizens through the provision of valuable services. An advanced healthcare system integrates cutting-edge devices with emerging technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, to transform the traditional medical environment, resulting in enhanced efficiency, convenience, and personalized services. In this paper, we outline the fundamental features of smart healthcare by identifying the key technologies that underpin it and examining its current implementation in key areas. We conducted a comparison between the elements of smart healthcare and the Cyber Physical Social System (CPSS), demonstrating that the smart healthcare system functions as a Cyber Physical Social System (CPSS).
