About
A research driven workshop and collaborative platform advancing computational methods for analysing, detecting and mitigating narrative manipulation in African low resource languages. Convened by the African Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AfriDSAI) at the University of Pretoria, the symposium explores AI models, multilingual embeddings, knowledge graphs and Explainable AI applied to misinformation, disinformation and information voids across health, governance and democratic ecosystems in Africa. Participation is by application via the AfriDSAI symposium form.
