I am a seasoned operations, innovations, strategy and development professional with over 15 years of experience supporting growth-stage organizations and initiatives that create meaningful impact. My career has been rooted in designing systems, optimizing operations, innovating around new solutions and building processes that allow teams and organizations to scale efficiently while staying aligned with their mission. Currently I am the Co-Founder and CEO at Mama Mzazi, where we provide life skills training and psychosocial support to children through direct delivery and AI-powered tools. In this role, I fundraise, build partnerships, lead cross-functional teams, and coach emerging leaders to perform at their highest potential. My focus is on creating structures that enable both organizational and individual growth, ensuring programs deliver measurable outcomes while fostering team excellence and impact at scale. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at Kidogo, I led operational strategy, finance, data-driven decision making, programs and growth with a team of ~150 people across 13 counties. This role combined COO responsibilities with that of a Country Director. During my tenure, I scaled access to safe, nurturing childcare services from 20,000 to 60,000 children. I also introduced new operating systems, and reduced operating costs by 40% through efficiency measures and strategic partnerships. Improvements in people management and culture also contributed to the organization’s highest-ever Net Promoter Score.
